What's all this about Hugh Laurie, then?

When I was about 16, loads of kids at school thought I looked like Hugh Laurie. I've filled out a bit since then. One of my mates once introduced me to someone as being "like Hugh Laurie, but fatter", hence the slogan.

Who the hell is Hugh Laurie?

He's been a comedy actor, one half of (Stephen) Fry & Laurie. He was a regular buffoon in British TV Series 'Blackadder' and 'Jeeves & Wooster'. He was the hubby in 'Maybe Baby' and the 'Stuart Little' films. More recently, he has found fame in the US as Dr Gregory House in the hit series 'House'.

Why are you promoting him so much?

Um, well I didn't mean to. I just looked a bit like him when I was younger. If you're really interested, here's a Hugh Laurie fan site. I only had a quick look at it. It's got pictures and stuff. You might like it.
